General MM Naravane, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Kashmir over two days to review the prevailing security situation. The COAS was briefed by local Commanders on the situation on the LoC, cease -fire violations, operational preparedness. This is the first visit of General Naravane to Kashmir after taking over as the COAS.
