IN PICs: FM Sitharaman dons red saree, presents Budget on Made-in-India tablet

Bahi-Khata has gone digital. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman shunned the Budget documents this year and presented the nation’s first-ever Union Budget in digital mode. It was Sitharaman’s third Union Budget and for the occasion, the Minister chose to keep it simple, donning a crisp red-coloured saree.
