New Delhi: The coastal state is witnessing a fierce tripartite electoral fight. On one hand, the YSRCP led by Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to keep its stronghold. At the same time, a three-prong coalition of BJP, TDP and JSP is trying to grab the power back.
On the other hand, the INC-led INDIA bloc under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister Y.S. Sharmila is making small inroads into the state. Although the INDIA bloc might not churn out any significant result in their favour, a win over a few seats can change the entire scenario for both YSRCP and TDP.

Andhra Pradesh Exit Polls Results 2024
According to the exit polls, the Chandrababu Naidu-led NDA alliance can take as much as 160 seats out of 175. This is far greater than the mandatory 88 seats to clear the majority.
A 160-seat win for the TDP alliance means only the leftover 10-15 seats for YSRCP. On the other hand, the BJP is expected to win 19-22 out of the 25 seats that the party is contesting in.
Furthermore, a tally of 160 seats means that they will go a notch up from YSRCP’s previous tally of 151 seats. The final results are scheduled to come out on the 4th of June.

Key Battles To Watch Out For
Pulivendula will be one of the prime focus of this year’s Assembly since it is the seat of YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. Another hot seat can be the seat of Kuppam where Chandrababu Naidu will be contesting.
The Kakinada district will also be a prominent seat this year due to the “star” factor of Pawan Kalyan. Kalyan is contesting from the Pithapuram constituency in this year’s Assembly elections.
