CCTV Video: Sai devotee dies of heart attack after parikrama at a temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Katni

New Delhi: A CCTV video has gone viral on social media where a man died after suffering a heart-attack while offering prayers at a temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Katni.

In the CCTV video, the man, identified as  Rajesh Mehani doing a ‘parikrama’ of an idol in the temple, he later sits to pray but and couldn’t get up. Officials suspect the man died due to a ‘silent’ heart attack.

The incident was brought to light after other devotees tried waking him up for about 15 minutes but he did not return, following which the priest was called.

He was then rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

According to the Officials, the victim, Mehani was a Sai devotee and he used to visit the temple every Thursday.

Meanwhile, on Friday, a bus driver in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur also suffered a heart attack an ran into several vehicles in the incident.

In this incident, two were killed and several others injured.
