CM Yogi announces to build ‘biggest and most beautiful’ film city in Noida, orders land hunt

Uttar Pradesh chief minsiter Yogi Adityanath's announcement to set up biggest film city in Noida has won him applaud from all sections. Kanagana Ranaut lauded CM for the decision.

New Delhi: Every year, thousand of UP residents pack their bags and go to the city of dreams to make it big in the glitzy film industry while many others go there to earn livelihood. Now, all that will change when Uttar Pradesh develops its ‘biggest and most beautiful’ film city in Noida/Greater Noida.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday announced to set up a state-of the-art film city, spread over a huge sprawling area, making it the biggest movie churning factory in the country.

“The Chief Minister while addressing review meeting, announced to build biggest and most beautiful film city in Gautam Buddh Nagar. He also instructed officials to search for suitable land in or around Noida, Greater Noida or Yamuna Expressway,” said an official statement.

This film city will give provide a good option to film producers and it will also help in generating employment. For this purpose, an action plan should be made soon, C M Yogi added.

The Chief Minister gave the directions while reviewing the development works of the Meerut Division, Meerut, Hapur, Baghpat, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr districts) through video conferencing at his residence. In the meeting, CM Yogi also took stock of many other projects like Meerut Metro project and set target of its completion by 2025.

Kangana all praise for CM Yogi’s Film City decision in Noida

Actress Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to laud the decision of Yogi government to set up new film city in Noida.

“I applaud this announcement by @myogiadityanath ji. We need many reforms in the film industry first of all we need one big film industry called Indian film industry we are divided based on many factors, Hollywood films get advantage of this. One industry but many Film Cities,” she tweeted.
