New Delhi: Punjabi actor and activist Deep Sidhu died after his car crashed into a stationery truck on Tuesday. He was travelling with his lady love who was sitting next to him.
The accident took place while the actor was driving the car. However, Sidhu’s girlfriend survived the accident but the actor lost his life.
Police said that, Reena was sitting on the left side of the car which was not heavily damaged, also the airbag on Reena’s side opened immediately without bursting and helping her survive.
However, Deep Sidhu’s airbag exploded soon after the crash.
Reena Rai, is currently admitted in the hospital and under treatment.
Why is airbag important?
An airbag in the car is said to be one of the inflatable safety device which is designed to protect the occupants of a car in case of a collision.
When accident or collision takes place, the airbag quickly fills up and provides a cushion for the traveler in the car to ensure they are protected during the crash.
