IAF Wing Commander waves G20 flag at an altitude of 10,000 feet, goes viral (Watch)

The high-profile summit, which is scheduled to be held in New Delhi's Bharat Mandapam Complex (Pragati Maidan) will be attended by over 40 heads of state, government and organizations who will start landing in the city from the 7 September's evening

New Delhi: With the New Delhi-hosted G20 Summit less than a couple of days away, a video showcasing an IAF Fighter pilot cruising through the bright blue sky with a G-20 flag has gone viral on the internet.

The official in the video is brave IAF Wing Commander Gajanand Yadava who is seen skydiving from a high altitude of 10,000 feet while waiving the G20 flag with a Sanskrit slogan that says “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”(One Earth, One Family, One Future) written on it. Yadav, who is currently posted at Air Force Madh Island, made the Jump at Jodhpur’s Air Force Station which is located in Palodi.

The caption attached to the viral video reads, “Celebration* Wg Cdr Gajanand Yadava posted at Air Force Station Madh Island celebrated G20 summit in the blue sky. He skydived from 10,000 feet with a G20 handheld flag at Air Force Station Phalodi.”

Although it is from March 2023, it has recently emerged on the internet once again with the world’s attention turning toward India- hosted 18th G-20 Summit which will commence on the 9th of September.

The high-profile summit, which is scheduled to be held in New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam Complex (Pragati Maidan) will be attended by over 40 heads of state, government and organizations who will start landing in the city from the 7 September’s evening to late hours of September 8.

Leaders of the world’s major economies including the President of the United States Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French PM Emmanuel Macron, Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will be marking their presence in the high-profile summit that is being held in South Aisa for the very first time.
