New Delhi: Hours after business tycoon Anand Mahindra debunks fake news report on his crypto investments on Saturday, the industrialist once again called out a quote wrongly attributed to him.
Mahindra group chairman took to Twitter on Sunday and shared a screenshot of a quote while calling it ‘completely fabricated’. He also shared two memes in collage with the quote to express his displeasure, as well as threatening a legal action in the matter.
The quote that was falsely attributed to him read, “An average Indian man spends his days following women on social media, putting his hopes into sports teams and leaving his dreams in the hands of a politician that doesn’t care”.
The Padma Bhushan awardee wrote in the caption, “As a colleague told me: ‘It looks like it’s hunting season on you with miscreants on the internet.’ Another completely fabricated quote falsely attributed to me. I’ll be taking legal action. Meanwhile, I’m going to post the 2 memes to the right, below, whenever I spot more fakes!”

From following you on Twitter & reading your Tweets & knowing of your philanthropic nature & kindness to all, I can’t believe anyone would even think to write such nonsense & put your name to it. Good on you for calling them out.
