New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Ayodhya visit today for the inauguration of railway station and international airport, made a slight devition from his itinerary and visited the house of a welfare scheme beneficiary.
PM Modi paid a visit to the residence of woman, who happened to be the 10th crore beneficiary under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
Prime Minister was offered tea at the residence of woman beneficiary of the scheme.
For the unversed, Ujjwala Yojana is Modi government’s flagship scheme under which clean cooking gas in form of LPG cylinders are offered to woman beneficiaries in rural & all those regions where people have been using traditional modes of cooking like coal, cowdung cakes & firewood.
Ujjawala Yojana, being one of the oldest & biggest welfare schemes of Modi government has benefitted crores of women by replacing unhealthy cooking mediums with free LPG connections.
