It has been confirmed after images of their graves in China surfaced on social media. Army sources had then claimed that Chinese side had suffered above 40 casualties, however, China never confirmed this nor released any information.
Two leading news channels have accessed the footage of mass graves of Chinese soldiers, who were apparently killed in clashes with Indian troops.

In one of tombstone of a PLA solider identified as 19-year-old Chen Xiangrong, the epitaph reads, “Tomb of Chen Xiangro. Soldier of the 69316 troops, from Pingnan, Fujian who sacrificed his life in the struggle against India’s border troops in June 2020 and was posthumously remembered by the Central Military Commission.”
This comes as a slap in the face those questioning the bravery and valour of armed forces in Galwan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier stated that the Indian jawans had died while giving a bloody nose to the enemy but a certain lobby refused to believe and rather demanded proof from government.
These pictures, posted apparently by any Chinese is a striking evidence of Chinese casualty in the bloody face-off.
The Chinese PLA troops and Indian soldiers had engaged in a bloody face in Galwan valley on June 15 over former’s misadventures and alleged transgression in the area.
At least 20 Indian soldier including Bihar Infantry regiment Colonel B Santosh Babu, had died in the violent face-off in Eastern Ladakh while as per Indian Army sources, 43 Chinese troops had lost lives in the face-off that involved fight with clubs and iron roads.
However, China has neither spoken about casualty on its side nor confirmed the number of death toll on its side.
