New Delhi: The launch of Jio World Plaza in Mumbai on Tuesday evening was a starry night with who’s who of Bollywood thronging the country’s biggest luxury mall. The star-studded event saw country’s top designers putting up their showcase with top Bollywood celebs flaunting them.
A large number of Tinsel town actors & actresses made a beeline for the inauguration ceremony and that included Karisma Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Suniel Shetty, Vijay Varma and Tamannah Bhatia to Athiya Shetty, Suniel Shetty, Shehnaaz Gill and Arjun Kapoor.
However, it was the charismatic & energetic Ranveer Singh who stole the show at the gala event. His magnetic appeal and quirky comments had the audience hooked to his performance.
The actor, seen flaunting a black blazer with black dhoti, made heads turn when he complimented ‘bhabhi’ Nita Ambani for her looks.
‘So beautiful, so elegant. Just looking like a waow. Just looking like a waow’, said Ranveer from stage eliciting loud applause cheers from the audience. Nita Ambani herself looked ecstatic over the gushing praise by the Simbaa actor.
In one of the picture frames, billionaire Mukesh Ambani was also seen laughing over his light remark.
For the unversed, Ranveer’s wife Deepika Padukone also attempted a similar pledge recently.
A number of Bollywood celebrities walked the ramp for acclaimed designers during the launch of Jio Plaza launch. Sonam Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan walked for Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla, Rashmika Mandanna and Arjun Kapoor for Falguni Shane Peacock and Janhvi Kapoor for Manish Malhotra.
Other Bollywood beauties like Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone did not walk the ramp but they made their presence felt with their fabulous looks.
Shraddha Kapoor was another highlight of the event as she mesmerized the audience with her breathtaking performance & melodious song. Katrina Kaif also walked the red carpet.
Jio World Plaza is set to emerge as high-scale shopping centre for high-end customers. Also, it will have exquisite & exclusive collections for its patrons.
Shehnaz Gill’s ‘queen’ looks energizes fans
A host of B-town stars were in attendance as Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries launched the biggest luxury mall in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla complex area. One actress who took the centrestage amidst all the festivities was Shehnaaz Gill. The actress came dressed in red gown as ‘queen’ and drew the attention of her fans.
She was seen wearing a standard red outfit with plunging neckline and drew loud cheers as she reached among them.
