KBC Season 15: Mayank wins Rs 1 crore, becomes youngest crorepati in Big B’s show

New Delhi: The Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) Season 15, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan has found its youngest crorepati this year. Mayank, a young boy from Haryana’s Mahendragarh rightly answered the Rs 1 crore question and interestingly he will also be vying for Rs 7 crore question in next episode.

The KBC show, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan entered 15th season this year and has remained among top-rated TV reality program, much like earlier.

Meet the boy, who created history in KBC

The popular quiz show, which has till now, seen IAS aspirants and learned individuals wining the mammoth Rs 1 crore prize, saw the young boy creating history at the show.

Mayank is a young boy hailing from Haryana’s Mahendragarh. Being a class 8 student, he comes from a humble background and his father is a policeman in Delhi Police.

His astounding success at the KBC show has filled his family with pride and left lakhs of audience amazed over the young boy achieving such feat.


The Class 8 student also impressed the Shehanshah of Bollywood with his talent & pool of knowledge. His confidence and composure at the hot seat showed up even as Big B grilled him with difficult & tricky questions. The boy kept giving right answers with ease, thereby drawing admiration & appreciation from the Big B himself.

When Big B asked Mayank’s father about his knowledge, his father informed that school teachers were also amazed with his skills.

When Amitabh Bachchan asked him about future plan, Mayank said that he doesn’t wish to keep any secrets in life.
He said that ‘sky is the limit’ for him and he wants to follow this approach.

“The only thing that matters is knowledge,” Mayank can be heard saying in the KBC Season 15 promo”, being shared on Instagram handle of Sony Entertainment Television.

Mayank has already won Rs 1 crore and now all eyes would be on him to see whether he answers the Rs 7-crore question or not.

What is KBC15 Junior special

Notably, the makers of KBC 15 have introduced a small series of ‘Junior shows’ to tap new viewers. Those participating in these series would be juniors only and they will have the chance to compete among their contemporaries for the hot seat and then partake in the quiz game.

The makers have also undertaken a special campaign to scan and select young children for the show.
