New Delhi: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed the residents of state to announce new restrictions and SOPs. Mahrashtra is facing an unprecedented spike in COVID-19 cases as new Covid-19 cases are skyrocketing at a fast pace. In last 24 hours, the state logged more than 60,000 new Coronavirus cases.

Panic buying in Mumbai ahead of Maharashtra CM’s address
People resorted to panic buying as the announcement of a public address by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray surfaced.
According to news agency PTI, vegetable vendors and general stores selling fast-moving consumer goods saw higher buying from around 5.30 pm when the CM’s office informed of Thackeray’s virtual address on Tuesday over social media platforms.
