New Delhi: The Delhi Police has lodged FIR against Maulana Saad under sections of the Epidemic Disease Act, for not following government orders on the management of the Markaz.
Newsroompost has accessed the FIR copy against the Markaz head, on whose directions Tablighi Jamaat had openly defied the national lockdown.
Maualan Saad absconding, police on the hunt
Meanwhile, Delhi Police has formed different teams to trace the chief of Nizamuddin Markaz, who has gone absconding after an registration of FIR.
Reports said that at least two teams are in western UP to trace Mohammed Saad while his close relatives have been questioned by the police to find out his whereabouts. The residences of Saad’s relatives have also been searched.
Another team of Crime Branch is looking for Saad in different mosques and places where he might be hiding. He has sswitched off his phone since the FIR was lodged.
