New Delhi: A shocking video of a violent scuffle between a family and a restaurant staff is making rounds of the internet today.
In the viral video, a large group of people can be seen engaged in a heated exchange of words which is soon followed by a violent clash where the two groups are seen exchanging blows at each other.

The video is from Float by Duty Free restaurant which is located in Spectrum Mall, sector-75 Noida.
As per the reports, the argument between the family members and restaurant staff was triggered after one of the family members made a request to the restaurant staff for removing service charges from their bills. However, the staff refused to do so which caused the two groups to violently clash with each other.
Victim’s allegations
Later, commenting on the incident, one of the family members wrote:

Today we have visited your restaurant Float by dutyfree located at Spectrum Mall, Sector-75, Noida with my family. First of all your staff declined us to serve certain food items post and we said okay. Post that we asked for bill and they handed over the bills to us and— Sunita (@Sunita57356474) June 18, 2023
She further said, “We asked them to remove the service charge but they were adamant not to remove it and start abusing my brother and assaulting me. Post that your staff started beating my brother, me my mother, and Maasi. 30 people started beating my family and grabbing my brother by the neck and trying to strangle him.”

Informing about the incident, Nodia’s DCP Harish Chander issued his statement in which he confirmed that the brawl was regarding some service charges imposed by the restaurant on the family.
“Complaints from both sides have been registered and we are currently trying to identify the culprits on the basis of the footage” he added.
