New Delhi: Bailout Cafe, a first of its kind hangout spot has been developed for the policemen in Saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh. Entirely dedicated to the Men in Khakhi, this place offers plenty of services to them and their families.
From subsidized food to cosy space for spending some idle time to unwinding, the place will offer them all. Families of policemen can also book this Café for anniversary, birthday parties & other gatherings.

The unique initiative is the ‘brainchild’ of Saharanpur SSP Akash Tomar while the hangout spot has been designed by ASP Priti Yadav. What’s more fascinating is that prior to this ‘happy place’, there existed a dilapidated canteen. SSP Akash Tomar & ASP Priti Yadav conceptualized an idea and transformed this old canteen into a happening & eventful place.
Bailout Café has been designed & opened for the policemen but local people can also walk in and spend a good time. Policemen will get subsidized food here and they will also get 10% discount on dining orders. For availing discount, they will have to show their Identity Cards (ID).
Sharing his views on the novel concept, SSP Akash Tomar said that this was a first step towards mitigating the stress levels & also comforting the ‘overburdened’ policemen by offering them a place to relax & unwind.
The walls of Bailout Café has also been adorned & embellished with graffiti and murals so as to highlight the good works of police force and also to impress upon the public that how policemen work round the clock to make life simpler & easier for citizens. This will also help counter the ‘bad image/impression’ of police.
Only veg-food in Bailout Café
SSP Akash Tomar also told press that the restaurant is completely vegetarian and no non-veg food will be served here. Waste Junk products have also been introduced in the restaurant, thus making it different from the rest.
