On this date in 2024, Ram Lalla idols will be installed in the Ram Mandir

New Delhi: The construction of grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya is moving at a swift pace and is set to match the expected deadline. Champat Rai, the General secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, on Friday said that about 60% of the construction work is complete and the holy structure will be completed on time.

Further, revealing the date for installation of Ram Lalla inside the temple, he said that Makar Sakranti 2024 would be a historic date for Ram Bhakts as the Ram Lalla idols will be placed in the sanctum sanctorum on January 14, 2024.

Rai said that the temple construction of temple is going on brisk pace and it would complete by the end of this year.
“We have set December 2023 as the deadline for construction of the temple and January 2024 to open it for devotees,” Rai told media persons.

It may be noted that Amit Shah also recently stated that the gates of Mandir will be open for pilgrims from January 2024.

Further, giving details on temple construction, Rai said that the first floor would be ready by October, this year and by Makar Sakranti next year, the Ram Lalla idols would be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of temple.

“Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla idol would be held between January 1 and January 14, 2024,” he said.

According to reports, two idols of Lord Ram would be installed. One will be the actual Ram Lalla idol that has been in the tent for many years and the other a state-of-the art statue with magnificent looks.

According to Ram Temple Trust officials, idol of Lord Shri Ram will be about 8.5 feet tall and will be built with stones of sky colour.
