Owaisi asks for cause of Tawang clash; threatens to ”give adjournment motion” in Parliament

China and Owaisi

New Delhi: AIMIM Chief Aasaduddin Owaisi reacted on Twitter soon after the news broke out in media reports regarding the face-off between the soldiers of India and China in Tawang. Owaisi dug at the BJP government and raised several questions about the incident. In one of his tweets, he threatened the government to bring an adjournment motion tomorrow on this issue.

Notably, the face-off took place on December 9. Thirty soldiers in the incident are reported to get injured. However, the face-off was stopped as both sides immediately disengaged from the area.

In his first tweet, Owaisi said that our Army can give a fitting reply to the PLA but this humiliation against China is caused by the weak political leadership under the Modi regime.

In his second, Owaisi demanded the cause of the clash and the number of soldiers injured saying the details of the incident are sketchy.

”The details of the incident are sketchy. What was the cause of the clash? Were shots fired or was it like Galwan? How many soliders have been injured? What is their condition? Why can’t the Parliament extend their public support to the soldiers to send a strong message to China,” read the Tweet.

In the third and last Tweet, Owaisi said that the reports of the incident from Arunachal Pradesh are ”alarming” and ”worrying”. He added that the government kept the country in the dark for days of the major clash. He asked, Why was the Parliament not informed when it is in session?
