New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s congratulatory Tweet as she took oath as CM of Bengal for the third term.
She has emerged as one of the most prominent political figures in the country, overcoming the massive political onslaught by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
CM Mamata replied on PM Modi’s Tweet, she wrote, “Thank you Narendra Modi ji for your wishes.
I look forward to the Centre’s sustained support keeping the best interest of WB in mind.
I extend my full cooperation & hope together we can fight this pandemic amid other challenges & set a new benchmark for Centre-State relations.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee on taking oath as the Chief Minister of West Bengal for the third consecutive term.
“Congratulations to Mamata Didi on taking oath as West Bengal’s Chief Minister,” said Prime Minister Modi in a tweet. Earlier in the day, Mamata was administered the oath of office by West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.
