New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s whirlwind tour of Japan, 23 meetings with CEOs in just 40 hours, his rousing reception in Tokyo and Hindi interaction with a Japanese kid kept the countrymen captivated and netizens enthused.
However, what took the social media by storm today is PM Modi’s picture ‘leading from the front’.

In the viral picture, PM Modi is seen walking down the stairs along with Japanese PM Fumio Kishida while US President Joe Biden & Australian PM Anthony Albanese are seen walking behind them.
Modi pips Biden in ‘optics race’, Twitter erupts
Many may see it as a mere co-incidence but the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is clearly winning this optics battle. Leaving behind the most powerful US President is rare & unseen even in photo-ops.
The photo is receiving lot of admiration and applause not just from users but also BJP leaders who are hailing him as ‘global leader or vishwa guru.’
Many users have described this as ‘Picture of the Day’.
BJP’s Amit Malviya captioned the picture, “Leading the world… a picture is worth a thousand words” while BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said Vishwa Guru Bharat.

Leading the world is good for India

If standing in front during a photoshoot meant leading the world, then the cameraman must be leading the world because he is ahead of all of them.

Today, PM Modi’s meeting with Quad leaders was the high point of two-day Japan tour. PM Modi met US, Australia, Japanese counterparts in Tokyo, it was the second in-person meet of Quad leaders. Also, India joining the US-led Indo-Pacific Economic Bloc, with an aim to counter China’s dominance in the region, is already seen by the world leaders with great attention.
