New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi likely to host dinner for Opposition parties leaders. TMC’s Mamata Banerjee, DMK’s MK Stalin, and Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray will be invited, said sources.
Earlier, Kapil Sibal hosted a dinner for Opposition leaders at his residence.
Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad, Sharad Pawar, and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav were also present.
Sonia Gandhi to meet CMs of Congress-ruled states on 20 August.
On Thursday, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that Sonia Gandhi will meet leaders and Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states on 20 August.
Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut said that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray will also take part in this meeting.
Earlier, Sanjay Raut in a tweet wrote, “Is this our parliamentary Democracy? Marshall law in Temple of Democracy.”
