In 1994, IAS, G Krishnaiah, was beaten by the mob after being dragged out of his car. The mob who killed IAS was protesting against the murder of another gangster-politician belonging to Anand Mohan Singh’s party.
The mob who attacked G Krishnaiah was allegedly provoked by Anand Mohan Singh.
What Anand Mohan said:
Gangster turned politician, Anand Mohan said that prisoners who have been serving long prison sentences can be released.
He also said that those who are questioning the decision of his release can go to court. Mohan added that those opposing the decision are disrespecting the rule of law.
