UP: Woman’s body found inside red suitcase near Yamuna Expressway in Mathura identified as Delhi resident

New Delhi: The body of a woman stuffed in a suitcase which was found on the Yamuna Expressway service road on Friday afternoon has been identified.

The victim has been identified as a 22-year-old, Aarushi Yadav from Delhi’s Badarpur.

The body was found inside a red-coloured trolley bag and was covered in a plastic sheet.

According to SP City Martand P Singh, Aarushi Yadav had left her house in Delhi on November 17.

The body of the victim was identified by her mother and brother.

Police had said that the victim was killed somewhere else and her body was dumped near the Yamuna Expressway.

The red suitcase in which the body was stuffed was spotted by the labourers, after which they called the police.  It was only after the police arrived at the spot and opened it they found the body.

Bisen said, that the victim was shot dead and her body was later stuffed inside the bag which was found on the road. He also said that two sarees were also found in the bag with the body.

On November 15, a body of a man in his 30s was found stuffed in an abandoned red-colours suitcase outside the Railway Station in Jalandhar at around 6 AM.
