New Delhi: Jan Adhikar Party chief Pappu Yadav got injured on Saturday as the stage from he was addressing election rally collapsed. He was addressing people in Muzaffarpur’s Minapur Assembly constituency when the incident took place. A large crowd was seen on the stage. As Yadav was promising education sops, the stage collapsed. He reportedly suffered a fracture in his right arm.
A video of the incident showed the stage collapsing just as the 53-year-old Mr Yadav was speaking to his supporters through the microphone.

This is apparently the fourth case of stage collapse during poll rally in Bihar elections.
Pappu Yadav’s Jan Adhikar Party and Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan’s Azad Samaj Party are fighting Bihar elections under common coalition – Progressive Democratic Alliance.
The first phase of the polls concluded on October 28, while the remaining two phases of voting are scheduled to be held on November 3 and 7. The counting of votes will take place on November 10.
