Mamata, Kolkata High Court

New Delhi: Calcutta High Court pronounced Judgment in cases concerning Post Poll violence unleashed in the state, allegedly at the behest of TMC workers.

Calcutta High Court orderd a court-monitored CBI probe into the incidents of post-poll violence in West Bengal.

The status report of the CBI and the SIT to be submitted before the Court within 6 weeks.

Also, SIT probe will be monitored by the court.

This comes after a number of petitioners had moved the high court alleging widespread post-poll violence in West Bengal after TMC returned to power on May 2, 2021.
