Summer months demand cooling drinks. What if these cooling drinks come out to be tasty as well as healthy? Yes, it is possible!
Masala Shikanji is one of those summer drinks we all relate to. The tanginess of lemons mixed with good amount of masalas makes it tasty, healthy and a perfect drink for summer.
Chef Kunal Kapur who keeps on sharing tasty drinks for the summer months on his Instagram on a regular basis, shared an easy recipe of masala shikanji that can be easily made at home with the available recipes.

Ingredients:
Lemon – 3nos
Sugar – 2½ tbsp
Salt – to taste
Black Salt – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 2tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 2 tsp
Roasted Cumin Powder – 1tsp
Ice Cubes – Few
Mint Leaves – handful
Chilled Water – to top up
Chilled Soda Water – to top up
Method:
Take two glasses. Squeeze the lemons equally on both glasses. Now add, sugar, salt, black salt, coriander powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, and ice cubes to the glasses and keep stirring till the sugar dissolves. Crush the mint leaves on a mortar pestle and add them to the glasses. In one glass add chilled water and in another add chilled soda. Now, it is ready to serve.
