New Delhi: Yuvraj Singh was seen celebrating the 10th anniversary of India’s World Cup win in 2011. He posted a video on Instagram talking about how the team struggled and fought together to fulfill ‘A Billion Dreams’.
Yuvraj talked about that the team wanted to win the World Cup for the whole nation but most importantly for the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar as that was his last World Cup. But in the end, that winning stroke of Dhoni fulfilled every one’s dream and filled the nation with pride and joy.
Yuvraj posted a video on Instagram and captioned it as: “April 2, 2011 – a date that went down in the books because history was created! No words to describe the feeling of national pride that motivated each one of us to push ourselves on and off the field. We all stuck together as a unit under our great coach Gary Kirsten who made us believe we had what it takes to become world champions! We all wanted to win this World Cup for our country ?? and for the master @sachintendulkar who carried the burden of expectations over decades! 10 years on – the feeling of lifting the cup is still fresh in my mind and it all seems like yesterday! Forever indebted for the opportunity to represent my country and bring glory to our great nation ????”
Yuvraj posted the same video on Twitter also and people are now reliving those moments. See their reactions:
