IND vs ENG: Virat Kohli becomes the first player to cross 4000 T20I runs

New Delhi: Former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli today (November 10, Thursday) became the first player to cross 4000 T20I runs.

Virat achieved the milestone while playing in the second T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final match against England in Adelaide.

India scored 168/ 6 in 20 overs and England need to score 169 runs to reach the T20 World Cup finals.

The T20 World Cup seni_final is being played against India and England.

England won the toss in the t20 semi-final and opted to bowl first.

Earlier in 2014, Virat Kohli had surpassed Mahela Jayawardene’s record of 1,016 runs to become the all-time greatest run-scorer in men’s T20 World Cup matches against Bangladesh in Adelaide.

Virat Kohli was the only male cricketer to receive the Player of the Tournament title in both the 2014 and 2016 T20 World Cups.
