New Delhi: Last night’s clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Hyderabad got overshadowed by Arjun Tendulkar’s maiden wicket in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
While Rohit Sharma-led MI walked away with easy victory against the SRH, Arjun Tendulkar claiming his 1st wicket in the IPL hogged the nation’s attention and the same was celebrated by hordes of fans, inside & outside stadium.
Arjun Tendulkar, the son of ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar, has been drawing all the attention after his debut in 16th season of the IPL.
Arjun bowled the last over of match at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad and picked the wicket of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, with Rohit Sharma taking the catch.
His maiden IPL wicket drew many reactions from the cricketing fraternity as many saw the ‘fire & poise’ in Sachin’s son.

Arjun Tendulkar displayed some brilliant bowling skills with his stats at 1/18 in 2.5 overs. In the last over, he executed Yorkers, didn’t give away runs and sealed victory for the team with wicket of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Arjun’s debut in IPL 2023
Arjun Tendulkar, the son of legendary cricket Sachin Tendulkar, made his IPL debut from the Mumbai Indians side at Wankhede stadium, where the team was pitted against Kolkata Knight Riders.
In the MI Vs KKR match on Sunday, he couldn’t pick any wickets but bowled good deliveries, giving 17 runs in 2 overs.
However, when Rohit Sharma gave him a chance to bowl in the last over against SRH in Tuesday’s match, he claimed his first wicket.
Arjun Tendulkar, keeping his calm under pressure & pulling off the heroics in Tuesday’s match also drew him praise & adulation from scores of cricket fans.
