Khelo India Youth Games 2022: Check full schedule, when and where to watch, venue and more

New Delhi: With an intention to mobilize the immense potential of youngsters in the field of sports, the Khelo India event will see sportspersons being shaped in over 15 sports, including the introduction of five indigenous sports – Yogasana, Kalarippayattu, Mallakhamb, Gatka, and Thang-ta.

The Khelo India Youth Games will see a grand opening ceremony on June 4, Saturday. Host Haryana and defending champion Maharashtra will face off each other across various categories in a friendly battle of supremacy.

This year, Haryana has formed the biggest contingent in the event, fielding a 396-member squad and will be seen contesting in every game at the competition. Meanwhile, Maharashtra has also sent a brawny contingent of 318 members and is expected to contest in around 23 out of the total 25 sports categories.

Khelo India Youth Games 2022 will air live on all TV channels associated with the Star Sports Network including Star Sports 2, Star Sports 2 HD, Star Sports First and Star Sports 1 Tamil TV.

Viewers can also live stream the event on OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar.

Meanwhile, the Haryana government on Thursday claimed that it has spent an amount of Rs 250 crores to successfully hold the Khelo India Youth Games.
