New Delhi: IPL fame Rinku Singh recently made his dream debut in international cricket during India’s latest tour of Ireland.
In the tour comprising Three T20 international matches, Rinku was unable to get a chance to bat in the first game as India’s innings got interrupted by the rain in the 7th over and the men in blue were awarded a victory 2 runs margin through the DLS method.
However, the Southpaw batsman proved his mettle in the second fixture by smashing 38 runs in just 21 balls and comfortably leading his side to a satisfactory 33-run victory over the hosts. Rinku’s heroic innings not only helped India win the match but also earned him his first international Player of the match title.
The third T20 international was washed out by rain and Bumrah led the Indian side got a comfortable 2-0 victory against the hosts.
Rinku pays tribute to his parents
Following the conclusion of the tour, victorious Rinku returned to his home and presented his parents with his newly earned jersey of the Indian team. Sharing the special moment with his fans, Rinku took to his Instagram and dropped a picture of him with his parents sporting Indian cricket jerseys.
Along with the picture, the 25-year-old cricketer also attached a caption that read, “Because of whom it all started. From where it all started”
