New Delhi: Virat Kohli was embroiled in a nasty and angry fight with debutant Sam Konstas. Konstas blasted away the Indian bowlers which included a scintillating 52-ball half-century to announce himself at the grand stage.
Konstas hit some exquisite T20-styled shots early in the innings to unnerve the Indian pacers, especially Jasprit Bumrah. Seeing Konstas bat in 6th gear, Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli looked to get on his nerves in the middle.

In the first session, Kohli seemed to have given Konstas a shoulder push, with the aim being to unsettle the 19-year-old batter. Kohli and Konstas’ altercation in the middle became a heated affair, prompting other players and umpires to intervene.
While the move was unsettling for any batsman, Konstas looked like he was made of a different pedigree. The move did not reflect negatively on the mindset of Konstas. Moreover, the right-hander continued with the same intensity and brought out a range of shots to notch up his maiden half-century.

Interestingly, Sam Konstas became the fourth youngest Test debutant at the age of 19 years and 85 days for Australia on Thursday as he got his iconic ‘Baggy Green’ cap from former Australian skipper Mark Taylor.
Keep provoking him, stir him up.
