New Delhi: With artificial intelligence grabbing space in our lives, it has also jibed at taking our jobs of survival. Recently, the International Business Machine Corporation, IBM, expected around 7800 jobs to be replaced by AI. The company’s CEO Arvind Krishna recently mentioned that hiring in some departments might be freezed in the organisation and efforts will be made by replacing them with artificial intelligence. The CEO emphasised the burgeoning popularity and the apparent need of AI to replace thousands of human jobs. To view the strength of the organisation, IBM currently holds around 2 lakh employees. However, it is expecting a job cut for around thousands of people.
