New Delhi: The makers have announced the release date of much awaited controversial film ‘The Kerala Story’. The film is going to be released on May 5 this year. After facing a lot of criticism for its storyline, the makers finally released its trailer on April 26 ( Wednesday). Prior to this, it released its teaser last year, which faced backlash from people and even demanded its ban. The story is based on the true events of Kerala, where girls from Hindu and Christian communities were radicalized and trapped into Love Jihad by Islamists in Kerala, and were sent to Syria and Iraq to become ISIS terrorists.
