New Delhi: A few days back Meta launched its new social media app named Threads in competition with Twitter. Within a few hours of its launch, it gained immense popularity and a huge number of people started using Threads. It recorded 100 million sign-ups in a very short time period which resulted in a cold war between Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter owner Elon Musk. This is the first time in history that an app got more than 100 million sign-ups within just five days of its launch. With this, it also broke the fastest downloading record of chatGPT by becoming the fastest-downloaded app.
