New Delhi: Kajal ‘Hindustani, a Hindutva activist known for her genocidal lectures about Muslims, was detained on Sunday in Gujarat’s Gir Somnath district for giving a hate speech on Ram Navami on April 1 that sparked rioting in Una town. She surrendered to police in Una on Sunday morning, after which she was detained and sent to court, where she was held in judicial prison.
The Hindutva hardliner has over 92,000 Followers on Twitter, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and is a frequent at Hindutva militant organization Vishwa Hindu Parishad events. A First Information Report (FIR) was filed on Kajal under Section 295 A (deliberate and malicious conduct with the intent to offend the sensibilities of any class by insulting its religion or its beliefs).
