New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath took first shot of Covid-19 vaccine on April 5 and subsequently spoke to ANI cameraperson. Giving byte after taking the vaccine jab, CM Yogi thanked the Prime Minister, doctor and frontline workers but when the video landed on social mediam, it sparked off major controversy.
Many alleged that CM Yogi used abusive language against the journalist taking his video byte after the vaccination jab. In the viral video, it has been alleged that Chief Minister used abusive word towards the end.

Video edited to spread fake news, says Yogi’s media advisor
However, the chief minister’s media advisor rubbished the viral video and claimed that the same was edited to spread fake news. He said that the viral video of CM Yogi allegedly using a swear word against news agency cameraperson was edited and fake audio was inserted towards the end.
Later, ANI also tweeted a five-minute video of Yogi Adityanth, in which he spoke to the news agency at length after getting vaccine jab.

Video not edited, claims fact-checking website
Meanwhile, a fact-checking website AltNews has claimed that Video of Chief Minister using slang word was original and not edited.
It said that the video is available on broadcasts by other channels. It claims that it reached out to ANI Editor-in-Chief for clarification but was denied any response.
