New Delhi: CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk’s transgender daughter has filed a request to change her name in accordance with her new gender identity.
She has done this because she no longer live with or wish to be related to her biological father in any way, shape or form.
The petition was filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica in April.
In the petition she has requested to change her name and a new birth certificate reflecting her new gender identity. The news was recently published online.
The former Xavier Alexander Musk, had recently turned 18 has asked the court to change her gender recognition from male to female and to register her new name, according to court documents available online through PlainSite.org.
Well, 18 is the age of consent in California.
Now her new name was redacted in the online document. She is the daughter of Justine Wilson, who divorced Elon Musk in 2008.
However, there was as no further explanation about the rift between Musk’s daughter and him.
In the month of May, Musk had declared his support for the Republican Party.
In 2020, Musk had tweeted, “I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare.”
