Haji Abdul Majeed Mengal was the head of the largest family. He was a resident of Kali Mangal village in the Noshki district of Balochistan, adjoining Afghanistan.
If reports are to be believed, he had six wives and he worked as a driver.
According to reports, Majeed Mengal married for the first time at the age of 18. Also, in an unfortunate incident, he lost his two wives and his 12 children. He survived with 42 children and four wives.
Out of the 42 kids, he was blessed with 22 boys and 20 girls and if grandchildren are added to the list of his family, then it is a complete family of 150 people. His village is 130 km from Quetta near Afghanistan border
Abdul Majeed and his family first made were highlighted in the news for the first time during the national census in 2017. Following this complete
investigation, the officials were left shocked.
