Imran Khan berated by Bilawal Bhutto in Pak Parliament for calling Osama a ‘shaheed’

New Delhi: Pakistan PM Imran Khan, who earned lot of flak within his own country, for terming global terrorist Osama Bin Laden a ‘shaheed’, today got an earful from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Bilawal Bhutto, son of late Benazir Bhutto, angrily rebuked the Pakistan PM in the Parliament, for his brazen support of the dreaded terror outfit like Al-Qaeda.

“Pakistan PM calls Osama Bin Laden a martyr but fails to acknowledge contribution of Benazir Bhutto,” Bilawal said in angry response.

Imran Khan, in an address to National Assembly on last Thursday, called Al Qaeda chief a shaheed, inviting wrath from the Parliamentarians.

“They came into our country and killed Osama Bin Laden, martyred him, all the world criticised us instead.” Khan had said.

Laden was killed in a military operation by US Navy Seals in 2011 in Abbottabad.

Bilawal lambasts Imran Khan over lackluster Covid-19 response

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari lambasted the Pak PM over the government’s lacklustre Covid-19 response also.

He said the premier now has only two options: either ask the public and the assembly for forgiveness for “destroying the national economy and endangering public lives” or “step down and let someone qualified take charge”.
