New Delhi: Queen Elizabeth II will be put to a final rest in a huge funeral attended by leaders and renowned personalities from around the world. The historical last ceremonial journey began on 3:30 pm onwards on Monday.
Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8 at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The coffin of the UK’s longest-serving monarch has been kept in London’s Westminster Hall. The funeral rites begin at Westminster Abbey in the early morning today according to UK time.

# David Hoyle, Dean of Westminster, is leading the funeral. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, will deliver sermons and praise. Prayers will be offered by the Archbishop of York, the Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster, the Moderators of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and the Free Church Moderators.
