Anand Mahindra confirms Mahindra XUV400 electric launch date; check expected features, price and more

According to the reports, the new Mahindra XUV400 will come with an NMC battery that is known to generate more power and a longer range.

New Delhi: Ending all the rumours in the market, Anand Mahindra on Wednesday confirmed to launch the Mahindra XUV 400 Electric SUV in the next week of September. Mahindra took to Twitter to announce the development. He also released a 15-second long teaser on the social media platform and revealed the date, September 8.

Sharing the teaser, Anand Mahindra wrote on Twitter, ”Today is a very auspicious day, so delighted to announce another curtain-raiser coming your way soon.”

Ahead of the launch, we are going to tell you the features, price and more detail of the XUV 400 Electric SUV.

Electric version of XUV300 

The new XUV 400 is the electric version of the XUV300 compact SUV. However, the electric SUV is measured at around 4.2 meters in length and will offer more space and a bigger boot compared to the 3,995mm long XUV300.

The new XUV will carry new headlights with integrated DRLs, a closed-off front grille, and a new design for the tail lamps.

XUV 400 Electric SUV battery features and price

According to the reports, the new Mahindra XUV400 will come with an NMC battery that is known to generate more power and a longer range. If the reports are to be believed, the battery can deliver a range of over 400km on a full charge.

The electric motor is said to generate 150hp. Among the expected features, Mahindra’s SUV include a larger touchscreen infotainment system and an Advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS).
