Audi Q3 SUV launched in India; know price, feature, and engine details

According to reports, the company has promised to provide a 5-year extended warranty on the Audi Q3.

New Delhi: German carmaker Audi launched Audi Q3 in India on Tuesday at an introductory price of Rs 44.89 lakh (ex-showroom).  The booking for the car was opened earlier this month at Rs 2 lakh. However, the delivery of the car will start later this year.  Notably, the carmaker discontinued Audi Q3 two years ago during the transition to the BS6 emission norms.

Audi Q3 exterior and interior details

The new Audi comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, a large octagonal grille and angular bumper creases. The car features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, two-zone climate control, park assist with reverse camera, and 30-colour ambient lighting. For the safety of its customers, the company has provided six airbags.

The car is available in five exterior paint shades that include Pulse Orange, Glacier White, Chronos Grey, Mythos Black and Navarra Blue. The interior colours include two options — Okapi Brown and Peal Beige.

New Audi Q3 engine details 

The new Audi Q3 is powered by a sole 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 190hp, 320Nm of peak torque. Notably, the car does not come with an option of a diesel engine.

The engine of the car is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. It is reported that the car takes 7.3 seconds to reach 0 to 100kph. The top model of the car comes at Rs 50.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

According to reports, the company has promised to provide a 5-year extended warranty on the Audi Q3 while the first 500 customers will be eligible to get an additional 3-year warranty.
