Tata Motors will get the biggest EV fleet in the Indian market and is likely to present Punch, Safari and Harrier EVs in the exhibition. With Nexon, Togor and recently launched Tiago EVs, Tata is making a stronghold in the electric vehicle market in the country and the inclusion of new EVs along with the SUVs converted to hunchback EVs is just helping them in the same.
The Altroz EV, which was expected to be revealed at Geneva Motor Show three years ago, is likely to be similar to Nexon EV. The EV can, reportedly, offer 350 km on a single charge. Compared to the ICE-powered Altroz, this version is likely to have a new digitally inspired lower grille for a new look with a modern aero command centre and a seven-inch touchscreen system in the interior. The EV is expected to have a price range of Rs 12-15 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Apart from Altroz, Punch EV is another car by Tata Motors to look out for at the Auto Expo. The EV is expected to have a 26 kWh lithium battery, similar to that of the Tigor EV. It will also have Tata Motors’ Ziptron technology.
The Harrier and Safari EVs are the most interesting convertible EVs to be presented by Tata Motors at the event. The firm will be exhibiting its EVs in hall number 14.
