New Delhi: Citroen is ready to launch its flagship SUV, Citron C5 Aircross facelift in India today. This will be the updated version of the Citroen C3 that launched in July this year. However, we must tell you that the price of a car will be revealed tomorrow. The reason behind this change has so far not been given by the company. Sharing the development, Citroen said, ”Good morning, we are pushing the C5 price announcement to tomorrow.”
Citroen C5 Aircross features and safety detail
According to the reports, the Citroen C5 Aircross will come with a 4-cylinder 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. The engine is expected to churn out 177 hp of max power and 400 Nm of peak torque. The car is likely to come with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox facility.
The new Citroen SUV might include the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Among the features, the car may carry adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure assists, reverse assist, collision alert and brake assist.
On the inside, the car will feature a 10-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, an electronic seat adjustment system, and wireless charger and so on.
Citroen C5 Aircross price and rivals
Considering the engine specs and features, the new Citroen may come at around Rs 34 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. Notably, the exact price of Citroen C5 will be revealed on September 8.

After its launch, the car will take on Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
