New Delhi: The owner of Mahindra and Mahindra group Anand Mahindra is very famous on Twitter for sharing interesting videos. In the latest video, one can watch a man who turned his scooter into a construction machine. Sharing the video, Mahindra wrote, ”That’s why we call them ”power” trains.
We all know how popular were Super and Chetak scooters of Bajaj once in the market. However, they were discontinued by the company in the years 1976 and 1972, respectively. A few people still use them as it is but some people have turned the outdated scooters into other machines and use them as per their needs.
In the video, one can see the man is using his Bajaj Super scooter to uplift the construction material using a rope tied to the engine. In the caption, Mahindra wrote it this work could be done more quietly if it is done by e-scooters when they get older or available second-hand.
Have a look at the video below here:
?????? I guess that’s why we call them ‘power’trains. Many ways to utilise the power of vehicle engines. This would be even better ( and quieter!) with an e-scooter, once their cost is brought down or they are available second-hand. pic.twitter.com/Xo6WuIKEMV

”Sir currently this scooters are being sold for around 2k to 4k in secondary market, where as cost for buying an EV is much higher. Making it available below 10k is not possible in near future,” commented another user.

The whole game will change for India once they would be able to bring down the price of EVs to the price of a pertol vehicle. Reachability and affordability matters.
