New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the new generation Alto K10 in India on August 18. Ahead of the launch, the booking for the car has already been begun by the company on August 10. One has to pay an amount of Rs 11,000 to book the car. Notably, it is known as the oldest surviving brand model in the market due to its 22 years of legacy.

1. Maruti Alto K10 engine:
The new hatchback is expected to carry a 1.0-litre, K10C DualJet unit, producing 67hp and 89Nm torque. The company will also provide an AMT gearbox option alongside the 5-speed manual transmission.
Besides, the company is also said to offer a CNG variant to its customers.
2. Maruti Alto K10 mileage:
As far as the mileage of the car is concerned, Alto is famous for low maintenance and high efficiency. It is likely that the car will deliver a mileage of more than 22.05kmpl.
3. Maruti Alto K10 colours:
The car will come in six different exterior colour options that include Solid White, Premium Earth Gold, Metallic Sizzling Red, Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Speedy Blue, and metallic Granite Grey.
4. Maruti Alto K10 design:
The videos released by the company suggest the car will be sold with several curves and edges, and redesigned front and rear bumpers.
Seeing the latest clip of the interior of the car, it will be launched with a semi-digital instrument cluster, an automatic transmission trim, and a floating touchscreen infotainment screen.
5. Maruti Alto K10 safety:
Among the safety features, the hatch includes reverse parking sensors, fog lamps, speed & seat-belt alert, and ABS with EBD. However, it is not confirmed whether the car will carry six airbags.
6. Maruti Alto K10 price:
The Alto 800 is being sold in the price range of Rs 3.39 lakh to Rs 5.03 lakh. The new Alto may be priced a little bit higher. The market experts predict the company will sell the car in the price range of Rs 3.39 lakh to Rs 5.5 lakh.
