New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki has announced the opening of bookings for the new Alto K10. The announcement came on August 10, which means now the buyers can book the car at any Maruti Suzuki Arena showroom or on the official website.
Customers can book the new generation hatchback at an amount of just Rs 11,000. For booking the car on the official website, one needs to fill in some personal details such as name, mobile number and e-mail ID. The token amount can also be paid through the website itself.
Maruti Suzuki discontinued the previous model of the car, and now the company is ready to re-launch Alto K10 with a new look and new generation features to compete among other entry-level hatchbacks. This new car is known to be bigger in dimensions compared to Alto 800. The old Alto 800’s length, width, and height were 3445 mm, 1490 mm, and 1520 mm, respectively while Alto K10’s reported length is 3530 mm, and it will be 1490 mm in width.
Features
The new car is also reported to have a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, fog lamps, and ABS with EBD. The features do depend on the model.
Expected price and launch date
The Alto 800 carried a price range of Rs 3.39 lakh to Rs 5.03 lakh. The new generation Alto is expected to have a price higher than its predecessor. According to some market experts, Alto K10 will be available in a price range of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5.05 lakh. The upcoming car is expected to be launched on August 18, 2022.
