New Delhi: Even before the launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, the hatchback has been spotted at a dealer stockyard. A video of the car has been shared by SSD Garage on YouTube. The video clearly shows the LXi, which is the base model, of the upcoming car.
The car reaching a dealer stockyard is an indication that the manufacturer has already started the production and dispatched it to dealers. Alto K10 has a totally different design from Alto 800. The headlamp of the car can be considered as a combination of what was seen in the Alto 800 and the new Celerio. The new headlamp and a large front grille add to the unique look of the hatchback.
The base variant misses the fog lamp feature and according to some reports, even the higher models of the new Alto K10 might not have this feature. The headlamps and indicators are regular halogen units. The LXi model has steel rims, painted in the silver shade, without any wheel caps. The car seen here in the leaked video is white in colour and it misses out on body-coloured ORVMs and door handle. The door handles on the car are similar to that of the new-gen Celerio.
The video does not show the interior of the upcoming car. However, it is reported to have a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, and ABS with EBD. The features do depend on the model.
The upcoming car is expected to be launched on August 18, 2022. According to some market experts, Alto K10 will be available in a price range of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5.05 lakh.
