New Delhi: Matter, an Ahmedabad-based electric vehicle manufacturer, launched India’s first geared E-bike on Monday. The company has set the target to mobilise 15 million customers with the next-generation technology. The company said that the bike has been tested between -10 degree Celsius to 55 degree Celsius.

Matter electric bike features and more
The bike by Matter is equipped 5kWh battery pack which is claimed to deliver a range of 125 kilometre of range. The bike comes with front and rear disc brakes with ABS technology, forward and reverse park assist, and 5 amp socket charging.
Notably, the battery can be charged in less than 5 hours which comes with overcharge protection as well.
The bike is powered by a 10.5W electric motor, supporting active liquid cooling technology, and 3 riding modes. In the connectivity segment, the bike offer navigation mode, media, call controls ride monitoring, over-the-air update, and push-button start.
Talking about the bike, Mohal Lalbahi, Founder and Group CEO of Matter, said, ”Our vision has motived us to challenge the status quo, remain persistent and resilient towards the goal and walk a difficult path with agility.”

The bike by Matter also offers a touch-enabled 7-inch Vehicle Instrument Cluster (VIC), 4G connectivity, and Android software. However, the booking detail is yet not reveal by the company. We hope the booking will soon commence on the official website of the company.
